Under 12 hurlers compete as sponsorship renewed
It's a big weekend ahead for our under 12 hurlers, who have two players, Cian Proctor and Alex O'Neill, entered into the wall ball competition that will take place in O'Tooles. The Under 12s have also entered a full squad into St.Kevins Easter Hurling Tournament. Both events will take place on Good Friday and Round Tower GAA Club wishes the lads the best of luck.
Under 12 hurlers off to winning start
Our Under 12 hurlers enjoyed a great start to the league today, February 23rd, with a good strong win against a very tough Faughs team in Corkagh Park. Snow didn't put the Towers lads off with 18 players togging out, representing great numbers heading into the year. The final score was Towers 2-5 Faughs 1-3. Cian Proctor got the Towers Man of the Match with a brillant display in goal in the first half and a powerhouse display in midfield in the second half. Worthy mention also to chopper hampson who played some great ground hurling.
